Fred M. Vaught, Founder and past President of Capital Resource Management (CRM), retired from business and professional practice as a Financial Planner June 30th, 2018 after serving clients, business' and non-profits for 39 years. Fred's professional career began June 30th, 1979 beginning with New York Life, EF Hutton, and Bank of America.  In 1984 he went into private practice founding CRM.

Fred served his community as founding board Member and chairman of Legacy Endowment Community Foundation in January 1994. He also served as founding board member and chairman of Vision Resourcing Group in August 2003.  Vision Resourcing Group is a 501C3 ministry dedicated to helping Christian leaders succeed in their areas of their God given responsibility and calling.

Fred, in his desire to continue to honor God, began his studies July 1st, 2018 at Colson Fellows Program  The Colson Fellow Program educates people of strong faith with relevant skills, biblical knowledge, and a solid Christian worldview to navigate in today's culture and reshape it in a way that is pleasing to God.

Fred received his undergraduate education from California State University Fullerton in Business Administration. He obtained professional credentials of Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®) and Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU®) from the American College of Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania. He became a Certified Kingdom Advisor (CKA®) with Kingdom Advisors, a professional service organization that trains and certifies professional advisors in applying Biblical principles in best practices and client advice.

Fred and his wife, Kaye, have been married since 1975. They have three grown children and four grandchildren. He and Kaye have resided in Valley Center California since 1990.

Fred and Kaye are members of Valley Center Community Church where Fred serves the body as deacon moderator, deacon and in men's ministry leadership.
